  2. Auntie M: So far it has been. He only stops smiling to eat and sleep.

  3. Lots of babies are pretty ugly but this one really is beautiful. He reminds me so much of me at the same age...or was my mum telling porkies?

  4. Nothing sweeter to see. Such a beautiful face. A nap sounds good to me :)

  5. Ken: I'm positive you were a gorgeous baby and your mom was not telling porkies! (What exactly does that mean, by the way? I always get such cool new expressions from my UK friends!)

septembermom: I'm all for Sunday naps. Especially now that my son is eleven and respects my need for sleep. Crossing my fingers that you get to take your nap!

  6. I'll take a nap if I can take it cuddled up with that sweet baby. It looks divine.

  7. Controlling My Chaos (Do you mind if I call you "Controlling" for short? hee hee!): I will confess that last week I took a one hour nap with that very baby snuggled in my arms.I propped him up next to me in the recliner and one of us snored. It also looked impressive when his mother came home from shopping and caught us napping together. It made me look like a sweet grandma, thus ensuring future visits.

  8. Ken: Yay! I'm looking forward to the post on slang. I've learned some pretty good ones from Janice already.

  10. Your reply to Ken made me smile! London rhyming slang can be fun: lies => pork pies => porkies

What a BEAUTIFUL baby!! I had me two of those and they grew...

Kiss and snuggle him for me please - you're blessed! The smell of clean baby and the touch of baby kisses and curled baby fingers...nothing like it!

  11. Janice: I know! No matter how much I told my kids to stop growing, they were very disobedient and just kept right on a-growin'. I shall give this beautiful baby a hug and kiss from his Auntie Janice. He will give me a huge smile in your behalf---I promise. He is quite a jolly little fellow. (Although I shouldn't say "little." He's six months, wearing 18 month clothing.)

You won't be paid for it, but at least you'll know that you have contributed intelligence to the universe...
